New Features & Enhancements

Bug Fixes

Core

• Fixed an issue where a workload consuming an object capability served by protect-daemon could make the daemon hold memory without limit.
• Fixed an issue where a SPIRE server zone left Failed, for example by a host reboot, was still used as the SPIRE server.

There are no changes to the known issues in this release. Refer to the v1.13.0 known issues for more information.

Upgrade notes

There are no known breaking changes in this release from the previous release v1.13.0.

Zones launched before the upgrade keep their previous zone agent until they’re restarted. Their object capability sessions now end when about 17 MiB of output waits on a slow reader, instead of buffering without limit. Restart those zones to get flow control.
