Release stages
Edera uses release stages to communicate the maturity and support expectations for features and products.
Early Access
Early Access features are available for evaluation and feedback. They are not production-grade.
- Stability: Behavior, configuration, and interfaces may change based on feedback before General Availability.
- Support: Best-effort. Early Access features are not covered by standard enterprise support SLAs.
- Security: Early Access features have not completed Edera’s full security review and make no isolation guarantees. Do not use them for untrusted, multi-tenant, or production workloads.
- Documentation: May be incomplete or subject to change.
Early Access exits at the product manager’s discretion based on feedback and readiness.
General Availability
General Availability (GA) features are production-grade.
- Stability: Interfaces and behavior are stable. Breaking changes follow standard deprecation policy.
- Support: Full enterprise-level support applies.
- Security: Features have completed Edera’s security review process.
